TOPIC: Moving from manual processes to automated efficiency
Overview
Following a referral from a mutual business associate, they asked if we could 'help out' a successful niche motor broker to transition to an electronic trading model, aiming to improve efficiency and broaden their distribution channels to reach a larger target audience.
Problem
Numerous manual processes were taking up valuable time, and automating these tasks would reduce time wastage. Their existing IT platform couldn't be adapted cost-effectively, leaving them uncertain about finding a solution.
SWOT
With a variety of specialized motor products for their target market, they have already significantly expanded the account. However, the manual processes are putting a strain on an already understaffed team. Recovering this time would enable the exploration of other new business opportunities.
Solution
Leveraging our comprehensive understanding of leading IT solutions in the insurance industry, we suggested a simple solution to support the scheme, allowing for some automated distributions and improved internal processing efficiencies. The addition of a new carrier eager for increased profitable growth, along with new data transfer solutions, enhances these efficiencies. Additional support will be offered in marketing and social presence, as well as increased engagement with the broader client base and related community.
Latest Update
The new platform is nearing completion, and efforts to enhance marketing and social presence are already in progress.
